Golden Demonstration at Jacksons

Following up from my last post, a reminder that I will be demonstrating Golden Products on Saturday 10 - 12 in the morning.  Come along you will pick up loads of information, bring a notebook to write things down.
I have realised that the workshop on the 9th and 10th of March will be on the same Saturday as W.A. elections.
I have decided to change Saturday's hours to 10 am instead of 9 am to give you time to go and vote.
We will extend the Sunday finishing time to 3 pm instead of 2 pm this will give you more painting time and you will not need to rush through it.  Hoping you will join me.

·      Create exciting textured backgrounds using Golden Molding Paste to  

    give your art added depth. 

·      In the workshop you will dig, delve, splotch, rake into your molding 

    paste to give exciting movement and expression to your art.

·      Learn to mix your beautiful Golden fluid colours with interference and       

i  irridescent   colours that are  colour and light fast. 

·      Bring another dimension to your art in a small workshop where you     

    will get maximum advise from a Golden accredited educator. 

·      Learn correct procedure in preparing wood substrate to protect and  

    enhance your creativity.  

    You will complete 4 A4 sized pieces in different techniques.

Kalamunda Village Markets this Saturday

I have been accepted to Kalamunda Village Markets this Saturday, 9 am to 3 pm.  This market operates the first Saturday of each month and if you haven't had the opportunity to visit this market you will be surprised how big it is, over 200 stalls.  The criteria is that 'You make it or you grow it'.  I have been allocated stall 16 and if you do come, please stop and say hello.  Below are some new journals I have made this week in between visiting my husband in Royal Perth Hospital.   

Last weekend I did the Fringe World Festival, Laneway night markets.  This was so exciting and inspiring, there was large crowds through both Saturday and Sunday and sales where good.  It was amazing to be involved in such a wonderfully organised event.  It was so good to see Perth embracing the Festival and many people asked if the Laneway markets are going to be a permanent event, unfortunately not at this stage.  It was such a arty edgy market and kudo's to the William Street organisation that put this on, they also put on Illumination market just before Christmas that we also attended.

This Fringe World Festival runs until 24th February although the Laneway markets was only last weekend, if you get the chance please support this at the Cultural Centre in the City.  There is also Unveiled on at the Museum, a wonderful display of bridal attire through the ages, and a wonderful exhibition at the Art Gallery of New York City.  I have them in my diary to visit while they are in Perth.  What a wonderful vibrant city Perth has become.
